Whoops

So, that’s an auspicious start for my return to blogging, right?
Anyway.
I’m very excited about WCHL’s Quiz Bowl this weekend, for which I’ll be serving in the role of Alex Trebek/Bill Schiffman. It’s gonna be on live on Saturday at 5 p.m., so make sure you tune in for two hours (seriously!) of fast-paced quiz bowl action.
RED SOX MUSINGS
So last night could have been bad. I mean BAD. John Lackey has been uninspired at best with the Red Sox this season. But I’m glad to see the bats continuing to work, although only Dustin Pedroia got more than one hit. Now for Matsuzaka tonight. Potential ugh matchup again.
Your Red Sox Minor Leaguer of the Night is…

Jose Iglesias
The 20-year-old Cuban was signed for his glove, but he’s doing well with the bat this year. So far, he’s hitting .308, albeit with limited power and walks (.771 OPS). Still, it’s a great start. Plus, last night he went 4-4 for the Portland Sea Dogs with a double and an RBI.
Later.
