Meeting Work
It’s hard to sit through local government meetings, sometimes;the largest problem is that they tend to go round and round for long periods of time without resolving anything. That happened at the meeting I covered last night, which at one point seemed to devolve into The Argument Clinic.
The most aggravating part, truthfully, was missing LOST by being at the meeting. I caught up on it later, but IT’S THE PRINCIPLE, DANGIT.
Red Sox Prospect of the Night

Stephen Fife is one of my favorite pitching prospects for the Sox, and he projects well as a reliever or 4th starter down the road. Last year, he walked just 14 batters in more than 87 innings while striking out 86. This year, it’s a 23/10 K/BB ratio for him so far. But last night, he went six innings, whiffing six and allowing just seven hits and no walks. Here’s hoping it’s a step in the right direction.
